About Grover

Adoption Fee: $300
Poodle / Brussels Griffon
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

(DOB 10/18/2023) Grover is a joyful, little guy, with still lots of puppy energy. He is so smart and easily picks up on manners and gentle commands. His personality matches his adorable looks - just an amazing little fellow with a happy-go-lucky personality. He just wants to play and please. He is still young so don't expect Grover to just be a little lap dog. He enjoys games like fetch and tug of war and playing with a variety of doggie toys. Grover also likes playing with other dogs. Grover is good on a leash, so he would really like someone who wants to get out and go for a couple of walks (or a little jog) a couple of times/day. Grover will require a fenced yard as he loves to chase and run. Grover is also a fan of car rides and would make a good traveling companion whether you are going across town or across the state. He'll tell you to pack up his bag, too and take him along. Who wouldn't want this adorable guy as a co-pilot? He'd be perfect for a single, active person or a family with a fun-filled calendar of events. On the flipside, he'd be equally perfect for a semi-retired person or couple who has an active lifestyle. He's great one-on-one but loves other dogs' cats, humans. He's really great, so all in all, Grover is a social butterfly so as long as his fur-ever home has a good number of things going on that include Grover, life should be good. By the way, a condo, townhome or apartment could be a good fit for Grover with the commitment of lots of play and outside activities daily. Grover is working on his potty training and is on a solid routine with his retired foster family. He really isn't crate trained and is something his family should spend some time working with him for small periods of time. Grover goes out one last time to potty at night and then has the luxury of sleeping with his foster mom; he is happy as a clam - 'night-night.' As part of Grover's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Grover, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
