Meet Harbor - A Healthy, Energetic, and Loving German Shepherd Looking for Her Forever Home Harbor is a beautiful, 13-month-old German Shepherd with a zest for life. She's healthy, active, and ready to be a loyal companion to the right family. Here's everything you need to know about this wonderful dog: Health & Vaccinations: Harbor is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, including: Rabies Bordetella Distemper Leptospirosis Hepatitis Parvovirus Lyme She's in excellent health with no known issues and is fit and energetic. Energy & Activity Needs: Harbor is full of energy and loves to stay active. She needs about 2 to 3 hours of outdoor activities daily, whether it's running, playing, or going on long walks. She thrives on exercise and would do best in a home where she can have plenty of space to run and play. Diet: Harbor has a healthy appetite and typically eats about 25% more than the daily recommended amount for her size. Despite this, she remains in great shape and is very fit. Personality & Temperament: Harbor is incredibly sociable and gets along well with other dogs, children, and people. She adapts quickly to new environments and enjoys making new friends. While she's loving and friendly, Harbor does have a protective side. In the past, she has shown some guarding behaviors, which included a bite incident. However, she has made great progress with training, and with proper guidance, she continues to improve. It's important that her new family is aware of this and can provide her with the structured environment she needs. Current Situation: Unfortunately, Harbor's current owners have realized that they are unable to handle her due to a lack of experience and ability to meet her specific needs.
