About Arnie

ARNIE is a 7 year old, 14.6 pound Papillon mix who was found in the woods in pretty rough shape. We don't know how he came to be abandoned there, but he just wants to love and be loved and seems starved for attention. Arnie is a cute, friendly little guy who loves, loves to be with his person. He especially enjoys being brushed, and will stretch out across a lap for a nap. He greets his person happily every time he sees them and loves to snuggle with his whenever he gets a chance. Arnie gets along well with all the other small dogs in his foster home and would be so happy with a small dog to play with. He loves to zoom around the yard with his foster brother. He likes toys and can often be found digging in the toy box, and even taking his favorites outside to play. He likes car rides, going for walks and helping with the gardening. He has not had any accidents in his foster home, goes outside to potty when his foster mom offers and knows how to use the doggy door. At night, he would prefer to sleep in bed so ge can snuggle his person. Arnie has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. When we got him fixed he also had a dental and unfortunately he lost all of his teeth, mostly due to poor nutrition, but he has no problem eating! MORE about ARNIE: We are looking for a home with a fenced yard since he was found as a stray. He does best with a soft food diet. He has briefly been around cats and an older kid and we were told he was good with both.
