About Arnie

ARNIE is a 7 year old, 14.6 pound Papillon mix who was found in the woods in pretty rough shape. He was underweight, skinny, with major hair loss, bad skin and an ear infection. He went to the vet pretty quickly where he was treated for everything! Arnie is a cute, friendly little guy who is looking and feeling a lot better. He loves, loves to be with his person! He especially enjoys being brushed, and will stretch out across a lap, enjoying the attention. He loves to snuggle with his person whenever he gets a chance and is so loving. Arnie gets along well with all the other small dogs in his foster home and loves to zoom around the yard and play. He is learning about toys and can often be found digging in the toy box, and even taking his favorites outside to play. He likes car rides, and helping with the gardening. He goes outside to potty when his foster mom offers and knows how to use the doggy door. At night, he sleeps in bed at the bottom, but occasionally slips under the covers to snuggle his foster mom. Arnie has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. When we got him fixed he also had a dental and unfortunately he lost all of his teeth, mostly due to poor nutrition, but he has no problem eating! MORE about ARNIE: We are looking for a home with a fenced yard since he was found as a stray. Another similar sized dog to play with in his new home would be a lovely bonus!
