About Scrappy

SCRAPPY is a 4 year old, 10 pound Yorkie who was surrendered to us after the death of his owner. He is a love bug with a lot of personality! SCRAPPY is a friendly, loving boy that just wants a lap to be on or near. He would love to be with a person who wants to take him everywhere! He is always front and center for kisses and loves to cuddle. Scrappy is good with most other dogs, but doesn't play with them. He would be perfectly fine as an only dog as long as he's not spending a lot of time alone. Bigger dogs intimidate him and if there are dogs in his new home, he would be best with small to medium sized dogs. He walks well on a leash, is working on his potty training and getting better daily. At night he sleeps snuggled in bed with his foster family. Scrappy has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments and dogs with behavioral issues are local adoption only. We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit.
