About Cory

**LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY** CORY is a cute 11 week old, 8.1 pound black and white mixed breed puppy. His mom, Callie, had been surrendered and gave birth to her puppies the day before we got them! Mom weighs about 20 pounds and we are estimating that the puppies are going to be medium sized fully grown. That makes him a perfect size for a family dog! CORY is ALLLLL puppy! He is very energetic and playful with his siblings. He is the most vocal when wrestling and he doesn't like to be confined to the puppy pen. He wants to explore! Cory loves attention and he is a snuggler. He's not as interested in toys as some of his first siblings but he does love to play tug of war and chase. During the day Cory and his littermates get to play in the kitchen and living room and at night they all pile up together to sleep in a puppy pen. Since it's not safe for them to go outside yet, he and his brothers and sisters are working on inside potty training right now and Mom says it's going well. CORY has had a wellness check, two sets of puppy shots, has been fecal tested and wormed, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. To keep him safe from parvo, he cannot go outside until he has had all three sets of his puppy shots. The third set of shots will be soon and his neuter will be scheduled at one of our vets when he is old enough. They are both covered by the rescue. Because he has pending vet appointments Cory is local adoption only, which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. We are a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola FL and adopt within a 6-hour drive to Pensacola, with some limited exceptions. Local applicants will be given first consideration. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments and dogs with behavioral issues are local adoption only. We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit.
