About Ivan

Ivan will be turning 4 years old this year. He is a Maine coon/ blue Russian mix. He is very playful, cuddly, and loves the outdoors via porches or windows! He is leash trained, and has traveled in cars for long periods of time. Ivan loves balls, tunnels, treats, pets, and being carried like a baby. Ivan has gotten along with his pug sister, but new dogs are scary to him. He has met other cats and although he wants to play with them, his 18lbs of fur has been intimidating for them. For his new home, Ivan would best thrive without babies, young children, or large dogs. Ivan needs gabapentin medication prior to vet visits, and has been trialed on daily anti anxiety meds to make sure he does not pee outside of his litter box. (This behavior only started when a baby was introduced into the home, he was litter box trained for 3 years prior). He needs someone who is able to keep up with his meds. In return, he will give you plenty of kitty kisses and purr loudly on your lap.
