I was really hoping to avoid this, but here it is. I have a two and a half year old female mini Aussie. She is the sweetest with me and my two kids (10 & 8), and any of my friends that she knows really well, and my one and a half year old Aussie. She is a lover and snuggler. Now here's the thing, she has become extremely protective of our family, which in many ways I love. She has bit a few of my friends, which no biggie, I have been working with her, and even spoke with two different behavioral specialists trying to work this out. We are an extremely social family (bbqs, camping, lake, big family outings, etc) and last week she bit a random guest and he was not happy at all. But it is only a matter of time before she bites the wrong person. As much as I don't like this, I need to find her a home that will fit her personality and needs. She needs a home with a backyard or property to run. And a family that just simply isn't as social. Doesn't necessarily need to have another dog, but would be great with them. She absolutely loves and adores my kids. She loves attention and snuggles. She is super healthy. I had her spayed and she is up to date with all her shots. She was originally with an older couple from when she was a puppy, until about five months ago when I took her in. If you are interested, or know someone who would be, please reach out to personally. I am in the Littleton, CO area.
