About Churro

Hello, my name is Churro! I am a female 10 month old Viszla/Padenco Canario mix, which is really a rare find around Arizona. We are known for being ancient hunters, and have a fascinating history as a breed! We also have a reputation for being great family dogs, and I am no exception! I can be a little timid when we first meet, but it takes me less than 5 minutes to warm up to you! I do better with women than men, but I warm up to men as well. I am great with kids, was raised in a home with 3, but I may love your kids enough to want to jump up, so kids 8-10 and up is best while I learn healthy boundaries! I did great meeting dogs, but the rescue thinks it's best that I go to a cat-free home, based on my breed, because I want to play and chase them, and they don't like playing with me!
