About Maple

Maple is a sweet 2 year old spayed mini Aussie at 40 pounds. She is a very affectionate girl who loves her people, playing, hiking, and hanging out with her doggy friends. She is learning indoor manners like sit and how to ask for the attention she craves. Currently, she is fostered in Amarillo Texas with another mini Aussie and a rescue chihuahua. She has had no issues with other dogs met outside the home. She loves all adults she meets and uses her manners when greeting. She's very smart, loves to earn her treats, and stays busy with food puzzles and games. Although young with lots of energy, she does well in her crate, on her own in the backyard, and playing by herself in the house. Maple takes long naps between exercise and training sessions and would love a hiking/running/biking buddy to use her long, strong legs! She is house and crate trained, walks well on leash and rides well in the car. Maple seems to act nervous around younger children so it would be best if she was placed in a home with children over 10 years old. She does need a fenced yard.
