Shih Tzu
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

PRINCESS is a 7 1/2 year old, 14.2 pound Shih Tzu surrendered because her owner was moving and unable to take his dogs. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. Princess is so very sweet! She is very friendly to everyone she meets. She is social, but also very laid back and calm. She is quite content to curl up on the couch beside you. She is great with other small dogs and was in a home with two others. We think she would also be ok as an only dog. Princess walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She is fairly quiet and barks very little. Once she let out a little woof at the back door to let her foster mom know she needed to go out, but otherwise she just goes to the door and sits someone notices and lets her out. At night she sleeps in bed with her foster mom and foster fursibling. Princess has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. MORE about PRINCESS: Cats are unknown. She was briefly around a young child (under supervision) and was fine. Affectionate and friendly.
