About Rascal

This little Rascal is looking for a lap to call his own. All he wants is a forever human who he can cuddle with all day long. Rascal is a 6 year old, 12 lb chihuahua mix. He is dog, cat, and kid friendly! This little guy is the perfect lap dog and loves nothing more than to be held. Like a typical chihuahua he can be a bit nervous around new people, but is sweet and not snippy. After just a day or two, he will be your new best friend and glued to you for life! Rascal is currently fostered with 7 dogs from 18lb to 100 lb. He has no fear of the big dogs and doesn't mind puppies as long as they respect that he doesn't want to play with them. He has lived with cats previously as well. Rascal is crate and house trained although he prefers to not be in the crate. If needed though he can go in, he just prefers to be out and doesn't chew when alone. He loves to snuggle in bed with his humans and will crawl under the covers to stay warm. He is good in the car and walks on the leash, although being carried is his preferred mode of transportation. ���Z Rascal is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative. New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots.
