MAX black is back on the market with Australian Shepherds Furever a 501c3 non profit Located in Maine, this brand new 1 year old just celebrated his Birthday with his sister BEE, and Foster family. MAX is neutered, Chipped, and UTD on all immunizations. We are loving this Boy! He is BRAVE and RESILIENT. Not much stirs MAX up. He LOVES to swim, play disk, car rides, and hiking. But there is so much more to this purebred Australian Shepherd from Tennessee: :Independent (Doesn't require constant entertainment) :Off Switch (Settles down easily) :He walks beautifully on a leash :Has amazing Vet and Grooming Manners :Food motivated and easy to train :Good with my cats and good with my neighbor kiddos. I am confident that he would chase if they run. :Able to redirect and has good impulse control :He is not a barker and does not resource guard. :Crate trained, but rather be in bed with you. :He loves the Fast CAT Lure and been exposed to Agility. :His favorite furry friends are Labradors and Goldens, and calm Aussies. He does not like rude dogs and is selective. He NEEDS guidance meeting new dogs. :He knows: Sit, Down, Off, No, Leave It, Lets Trade, Settle, Bed Time, Load Up, Shake, Hike, Wait, Stay. Max needs exercise daily. At the least, an hour a day. He would prefer to have a strong and experienced leader to help him redirect and make great choices. Max gets aroused in an exciting environment and will nip out of frustration. Like most Aussies, he loves his people and is protective. He needs time to warm up on his own terms. Interested?
