Meet Lisa Left Eye Lopes (a name that needs no explanation)! She is a 6 month old, 7 lb. chihuahua/min pin mix who managed to get the best traits of both of her breeds. She is incredibly cuddly and affectionate when the energy of the house is low. Lisa loves to cuddle on the couch or in the bed and bury her face into you. When it's time to get the party started, Lisa is your hype girl as her min pin personality makes more of an appearance. She transforms into an active, playful, brave and independent girl that is ready for adventure. Lisa has endured some trauma in her short life that leaves her initially skeptical of new people but once she knows she's safe with you, she's fiercely loyal and protective. Her foster family got her to the other side of her traumas and while she is definitely ready and deserving of a forever home, she will need a little time to adjust and feel safe. She has been doing great with her regular visits to the pet sitter's house so we know she's ready but her forever family should understand that there may not be an immediate connection from Lisa and that treats and toys are the way to heart. No toys are safe if Lisa is around. Lisa Left Eye Lopes is crate-trained and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard so she can explore and find adventure safely in her own yard. And don't tell her that she is missing an eye, because she clearly has no idea it's gone. She is an expert at hide and seek and can land a jump with ease.
