About Louis

Shih Tzu / Poodle
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Louis is ready to find his forever home! He was found as a stray & went unclaimed. We are unsure of what his story is. Moving forward we will need a new caregiver who keeps better track of him. Louis is approx 8 yrs young & is a Shih Tzu or Shipoo. He came to us with his eye already removed. He is not only handsome, he's loving, affectionate, needy, demanding, emotional, unimpressed & boisterous as most Shih Tzu's are. He's a petite little man weighing in around 10lbs. Some stats on Louis - - Louis is dog friendly, although he doesn't seem to buddy up with them. He's more interested in his caregiver and his stuffed toys. - He's a picky eater, can be vocal when he wants something, doesn't care to be crated & would like to snuggle up with you on the couch or in bed. - Louis wears a belly band inside the home. If he were to be an only dog, we are unsure if this would be able to go away. - He has the potential to be a flight risk around doors as he wants to be with you. He can also get under foot so people with mobility issues probably shouldn't apply. Louis has great potential to be your best friend or furry child you've been longing for. He's a wonderful companion to those whose like to dote over their furry children. If you're interested in applying for adoption of Louis, you can fill out an application on our website at - - Canineliberationleague.com Or you can email us for an application at - - [email protected] Louis is current on all vaccines including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella. He is neutered and microchipped and also just had a dental cleaning. Location - South Lyon, MI
