About Sounder

Sounder is sweet and loving 7 year-old, gorgeous 35 pound Australian Shepherd currently being fostered in the Portland, Oregon area. She's quick to trust new people and extremely affectionate. Sounder is curious and playful with cats, but not aggressive. She's good with children and loves being around people, and she doesn't mind lounging around the house as long as she also gets out on a walk. She's food-motivated, crate-trained, loves to ride in the car, and has good house manners. She wants to be a is a velcro dog to her human. Sounder would do best in a home without a dog or possibly a home with a non-dominant male dog. She has lived with another dog and done well, but she has also been reactive to other dogs to varying degrees. Ideally she would do best with an experienced owner who can manage dog introductions and help her feel comfortable around other dogs in her environment. Sounder is spayed and UTD on vaccines.
