To help us make a great fit for you, and any of our dogs as well, please include information about yourself(Home, family, yard/fence, work hours, other pets...) and/or use our application at sparrowdogs.com. Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) That sweet dog in the picture is a little thief, she has stolen so many hearts along her journey to find a new home!! Romy started out as a stray, was taken to a large shelter and the staff was totally smitten with this sweet girl! Soon she came to rescue and we have the pleasure of fostering Romy. She has been a delight. Recently she was spayed, and yes, you guessed it. The staff at the veterinary clinic was just in awe of Miss Romy!! Someone, somewhere in Romy's 8 months on this planet has loved and cared for her. She is very gentle, well mannered and even totally housebroken. Romy is playful, snuggly and is about the silliest thing you will ever meet. She can even get the grumpy old dogs to perk up and tolerate some of her puppy antics. We really have no idea what breed(s) Romy may be. Her paperwork from the shelter said lab, who knows. We are guessing she is just a really great mix of a lot of breeds. She is of slight build, she is more sleek and petite than she is stocky. She is currently 32 pounds, perhaps she will be around 40 pounds as an adult?? We are looking for a home with lots of love to spare, maybe a couple of older kids(she may be to rambunctious for toddlers), another dog and an active lifestyle will be great. She is young, so she will not do well with long hours alone. But, she is just the right size for that active family that wants to pack it up and go camping, hiking, exploring...
