About Butters

Hello my name is Malissa. I am trying to help a friend who recently got a puppy for their daughter and they love him but know they cannot keep him. The dad was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer shortly after getting him and they are spending all their time at the hospital for his Chemo treatments. They are unfortunately unable to keep the dog due to them not being able to be home to care for him. The family is helping to feed him and care for him as much as they can but he needs someone that can spend time with him and be able to properly take care of him. The dog's name is Butters and he is around 4 months old. He has his first set of shots and is due next week for his second set. We are trying to get him placed somewhere other than the county shelter but we are running out of time. The family is running back and forth from the hospital and the distance from their home to the hospital is almost 3 hours. The dad has been admitted to the hospital and has been there for over a week and we are unsure when he will return home. Please if someone is available to take Butters and give him a great home our family would greatly appreciate it. If you have any questions please let me know.
