Ewok had been picked up as a stray along with a couple of other scruffy dogs. No one showed up to claim them and Ewok was adopted out. The home he went to had a 1 year old child who followed Ewok under a table and cornered Ewok who then growled and snapped at the child as a warning. There was no bite but Ewok was turned back into the shelter and we were asked if we could help find him a proper home without any young children. Ewok has a big personality in a little body - typical of terriers. He is very playful and energetic. He will sleep in a crate at night however reluctantly and is practicing his leash walking skills. He gets along with other dogs and will stand up to big dogs too but he will chase a cat. A home without young children (toddlers) and feline free would suit him best. Ewok is about a year old and 24 pounds. Please help Ewok find his forever home. From Ewok's foster Mom: Ewok is a little ball of love. He's always so happy, and loves to snuggle. He is very polite and a good listener. He follows me around all day long and loves to lay outside and sniff every blade of grass in the yard and watch the birds with me. No accidents in the house and crate trained. We love having him! Update: Ewok tested positive for 2 common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. Both are treated with an oral antibiotic which he is currently on. Ewok is still currently available for adoption and any remaining pills will be sent home with his new family for completion. Ewok is doing great and a very happy boy and would love to find his forever home. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals.
