Meet Sara. Sara was surrendered to animal control along with her puppies when her owners could no longer care for them. Sara was a great mom and her puppies have been weaned. Everyone is ready now to find their new homes. Sara is a sweet dog and loves to give hugs and kisses. She knows some basic commands and has good manners. Now spayed and happy to have raised her last set of puppies, Sara is very much ready to find a family to love. Sara is about 4 years old and 60 pounds. Please help Sara find the loving home she deserves. Update: Sara tested positive for Anaplasmosis, another tick borne disease similar to Lymes. She has already completed her course of oral antibiotic and is feeling great. Sara is currently savailable for adoption. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
