About Lucy

Lucy is an independent girl with your typical hound quirks. She would make a great companion for someone with lots of land, who would be willing to work on leash manners and continuing her training. Lucy would not be suited for an apartment or a house with no backyard. She likes to use her voice - she will alert for birds, vehicles, and other animal activity. We believe she would excel at sniff work and would make a great hiking or walking buddy. Lucy is very routine-oriented and needs at least two walks per day to keep her busy and happy. Once she has her walks, Lucy is content to sleep on a cozy bed. Lucy is a very intelligent dog, yet stubborn; she would appreciate someone who knows hound dogs and would thrive in an environment that can provide her with the space, time, and energy to help her be the best doggo she can be.
