About Rebel

LOCATION: Woodstock, Georgia DOB: 10/29/2020 Hi! I'm still with my owner right now. I'm looking for a foster (fosters get first option to adopt!). This way the team can get to know me better and get an all clear from the vet. Read my bio below! Rebel is a stunning piebald Great Dane. Her grace and beauty are only matched by her gentle demeanor and goofy nature. Despite her regal appearance, she is not a royal snob and loves to interact with canine friends at camp. Sadly, though, she finds herself in need of a new home due to unforeseen circumstances. While Rebel hasn't lived with other dogs, she has shown positive interactions with them, at doggy day camp -with medium and large breeds. Her compatibility with cats remains unknown, but her sweet nature suggests she may do well with proper introductions. Her love for children of all sizes is evident, though she hasn't been around infants. Her large size means she may need reminders to be gentle around little ones to avoid accidental knocks, but she is just so affectionate with everyone she meets. Housebroken, leash trained, kennel trained, and well-behaved in the car, she's simply fantastic. She knows basic obedience commands, though she may pull on the leash, a behavior that can be corrected with training and patience. Rebel is not aggressive. She may bark in new situations or when unfamiliar people approach the house, but that is just her protective instincts kicking in. She is a pushover for attention and snuggles. When she's not exploring the great outdoors, Rebel enjoys lounging on the couch, soaking up the sun in the yard, and reveling in the affection of her humans.
