About Emilia

Emilia was an owner surrender to a shelter in Texas. Emilia is 4-5 years old, the most precious and sweetest Chiweenie. She lived with another foster for a month who unfortunately overfed her with junk and this little girl gained almost 4 lbs in only a month. She now lives with another foster who is currently working with her to get some of the weight off. She chases her Mommy around the yard, throws herself in front of her feet and demands belly rubs before she runs again. Her foster also takes her swimming at Canine Fitness Center twice a week. This girl is a little fish! She swims so well and even enjoys it. Emilia has already almost lost 2 pounds but has 1-2 more to go. At her perfect weight, she will be around 8 lbs. Emilia is the sweetest little love bug. Nothing makes her happier than getting belly rubs and cuddling with her humans on the couch or bed. She likes to be covered under her blankie. She gets along with the dogs here at the foster home, she is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys exploring the fenced in yard. She is not a big fan of car rides but does OK. This sweet little girl is still discovering how to play with toys. She does ok on car rides as long as she is near her humans. She still needs a little work walking on a leash but otherwise does amazing. Goes potty outside. She has never had any accidents in the home. Being an adult, she doesn't chew things up.
