About Juicy Fruit

(DOB 12/17/2023) Juicy Fruit is your typical puppy. She is inquisitive about everything and is full of kisses.She is very loving. Her days are spent eating, sleeping, playing, pottying and repeat.This girl is super smart and quick to pick up on commands AND she's eager to please, so she learns very quickly. She is a fantastic student; she learned basic commands in a day while watching her furry fosters siblings. What a little smarty-pants! The ideal home for Juicy Fruit is one in which she has her people home with her often. Since she is still a puppy with a good amount of energy, another young or young-at-heart playful dog would be great in her forever home or an active family lifestyle where she has lots of fun and attention. She loves sticks and some tall grass to use as cover when playing with dog friends. One could even describe her as a grass shark. When she is ready to come in after some playtime and exploration in her fenced in yard, Juicy Fruit learned how to open the screened in porch door, so she just lets her self right on in! This natural beauty groans hysterically when she's sleepy. Her ideal sleeping position is on her back in between two humans. Her very best 2-legged friend his her foster's moms 5-year old child. She would be happy in a home with a loveable and sweet kid!She has the happiest, most enthusiastic puppy butt/body wiggle, this girl wears her emotion on her sleeve. This girl is pretty adaptable; she would be ok in a family with other doggie siblings or people siblings, could be in a home or an apartment, condo or townhome since she doesn't require a fenced in yard (of course, as long as she has plenty of playtime and several walks a day). Juicy fruit is still learning all of her training so a consistent and regular routine has been important. As a young pup, Juicy Fruit is already doing well with potty; she goes out several times a day, but she prefers to not be alone).She sleeps in her crate at night and is good in her crate but prefers to still be able to see and hear what's going on. With good routines, she will master them both in short order. She is also already good on a leash so her new family should continue daily walks even if there is a fenced yard for her to run around in. Leash training is important for trips to the vet, going out and about, and just overall good doggie adult behavior. She eats twice a day but would eat more if she could! Be on the look out though, this quick of a wink girl can surprise you sometimes with her agility and speed. She can be caught, in the blink of an eye, doing a little counter surfing (as mentioned above, she loves some yummy food!!) or she may make a mad dash out the door. So if kids are in the home they should be dog-smart and old enough to be aware of these little fun facts about Juicy Fruit to keep her safe and secure. She's recently separated from her litter mate, so we are working through some separation anxiety and individual obedience training. She is very smart and learns quickly. Her favorite thing to do is be around people and get lots of belly rubs and cuddles. She just isn't interested in hanging out for long periods of time by herself. She loves being with her peeps!!!
