About CINDER

***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Over 6 months in Boise boarding kennels Meet your next velcro dog CINDER! CINDER is about 2 years old, 66 lbs, healthy with a nice coat. He is obviously photogenic with those piercing blue eyes. We are thinking that he is a nice blend of siberian husky and Alaskan malamute. CINDER is affectionate (think teddy bear), has a gentle mouth, and good on leash. Because he likes to stick close to his people, he will likely be good off-leash too. From a recent sleepover outing, we are thinking that CINDER has not lived inside a home before. He was brought out routinely to take care of business, but otherwise doesn't know any signals. He was fine in his crate during the night and even satiates himself with a chewie. All the smells/noises/routin in a home are new to him. He will likely need a calm, patient family with other balanced dogs so that CINDER can learn from them. We have learned that CINDER is a little cautious of strangers (cowers), but easily warms up. He loves his treats and uses only a gentle mouth to accept, so we are thinking kid-friendly. At his boarding kennels, CINDER has been having fun in off-leash play groups. At a recent adoption event, we learned that CINDER ignores kittens! He may be cat-friendly in your home! CINDER doesn't really know about getting into vehicles at this time, but once he is inside, he is happy and calmly lays down. After over 6 months in boarding, we would love a foster home for CINDER so that we can learn more about him and help him find a furever home. CINDER is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped for his forever family.
