About Stardust

STARDUST is an 18 month old, 10.6 pound Papillon Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray. LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Fenced yard, lots of love! She was originally found as a stray but we found out later that she had been dumped along with her son, Night, who is also available for adoption. Stardust is a very happy, gentle girl who does not meet a stranger. Her little tail goes like crazy when you call her name and she comes running. She enjoys morning snuggles and pets. We think she would love an active family that would take her on adventures. Stardust gets along with all the other small dogs in her foster home, but initially she's a bit shy. She would enjoy having a doggy friend in her new home and also would probably be fine as an only pup, as long as she does not spend too much time alone. She does well with kids and was around cats with her finder and we were told she was good with them. Stardust is pee pad trained and also goes outside to do her business. She seems to be okay on a leash. We would prefer that she has a home with a fenced yard. She has a good appetite, loves snacks, and is not a barker. At night she sleeps on the big bed between the pillows. Stardust has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. This precious girl will be a wonderful addition to almost any family! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
