About Ralphie

Adoption Fee: $300.00
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Well, here's a glow up! Ralphie, formerly Cappy, was adopted from us in 2021. His family recently reached out and asked to return him because they have a newborn that Ralphie grumbled at. Our policy is to take every dog back at any time, no matter what, and we welcome him with open arms! **If you are interested in meeting or adopting RALPHIE you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION using this link- https://form.jotform.com/232395363383057 or by filling out an application on our website- aplaceofhoperescue.com** RALPHIE is a beautiful 3 year old mixed breed boy weighing in at 31 pounds! LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Quiet home, no kids. RALPHIE is a super sweet teddy bear of a dog! He is very friendly and happy. He loves to give kisses to his foster mom and he greets friends and strangers alike... with a happy, waggy tail! Ralphie has been to a training class, is housebroken, knows how to use a doggy door, is leash trained and rides well in a car. He is very active and energetic and we would love for him to have a home with a fenced yard. Ralphie has a favorite toy, a stuffed rabbit, that he's had one of since he was a pup. Ralphie is ok with other dogs but can be reactive if they are alpha dogs or very active and crowding him. He would be fine as an only dog and would love the full attention of his family. We have not had him around cats and we think he will be fine with older kids (teens). Ralphie thinks he is a lap dog and will hop right up for some lovin'! At night he wants to sleep right up against his person, as close as possible. Ralphie has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, wormed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
