About HANK

Handsome HANK is still waiting for his furever home! Hank is a 10 year old, 17 pound Poodle who was originally surrendered to us as a badly neglected dog. Hank wants a home where he can relax on a soft bed, get belly rubs, and eat yummy, healthy food. After he has love and attention from his person, he acts like a silly pup, but like many older dogs, when Hank is chilling or taking a nap he does not like his peaceful world disturbed. He can be grumbly and nippy if startled. His new person just needs to be mindful that he is a senior dog who has earned the right to chill! Hank gets along with all the calm dogs in his foster home, but would much prefer a home with another older, senior dog, or to be an only dog. He is housebroken, enjoys going for walks and likes to sit outside and nap in the sun. At night he sleeps either on the big bed or on an orthopedic dog bed next to the big bed. HANK has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
