With a name like Sugar, you already know this girl is going to be sweet-and she absolutely lives up to it. Gentle, loving, and just a little shy, Sugar is the kind of pup whose heart opens more and more once she knows she's safe. This beautiful Husky mix came to OURS alongside her sister after the two found themselves in need of rescue. Whatever uncertainty may have been part of their beginning, Sugar has shown us that there is an incredibly sweet little soul underneath that initial shyness. Sugar tends to take a little time to get comfortable with new people and situations. She's an observer first-the kind of girl who likes to make sure everything is okay before jumping in. But give her patience, kindness, and a little reassurance, and you'll start seeing that bright personality emerge. One of the things that helps Sugar most is having another confident dog around. She looks to her canine friends for reassurance and guidance, and having a buddy beside her helps her understand that the world really can be a pretty wonderful place.
