About Shaggy #1

Shaggy#1 is one of the last of the Scooby Litter still searching for his forever family. He has seen 8 of his siblings go home and he is still waiting. This happy go lucky and playful boy who loves entertaining himself with toys. He will throw them up in the air and then chase after them himself. He also loves to romp in the yard and gets to accompany the shelter staff when they go on their lunch breaks. Shaggy#1 likes being silly and loves affection. He is very treat motivated and should be easy to train with practice. Shaggy#1 is good with well behaved older kids (he may accidentally knock over small sized children). He gets along with other dogs but we do not know what he thinks of cats. Shaggy#1 is about 7-8 months old and 33 pounds. Please help Shaggy#1 find the loving home he deserves. *Please note we currently have two dogs with similar names. Please refer to this dog as Shaggy#1 when filling out your application or emailing to avoid any confusions or delays in processing.* Scooby litter consists of Bear, Candy, Daphne, Freddie, Nova, Puppet, Scooby, Scrappy, Shaggy#1, Velma. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
