About Remi

Reset your stereotypes of small breeds for this amazing pup! Remi is a 4 month old small breed Pinscher / Chihuahua / Dachshund mix who was lovingly surrendered by his family who had medical complications. Remi has THE most fun temperament and gets along brilliantly with his foster family's two large rescue dogs. He is quickly working on potty training (right now exclusively goes on his puppy pads) and despite being tiny, is a big eater! Although small breeds can be loud at times, Remi has yet to make a single sound. His foster family hasn't heard him bark, whine, or anything. The only thing you'll hear from Remi is the rapid pitter patter of his feet as he rapidly runs everywhere to explore everything. Remi is full of excitement, not nervousness. His favorite activity is playing cat and mouse with his 6 year old human foster sister. Since being with PACA, Remi has been loving leashed walks. He keeps up with the big dogs and loves the fresh air blowing in his adorable silky ears. This is a pup that deserves companionship, socialization, and exercise. He doesn't want to be someone's purse dog. He wants to live a life of adventure! PACA is a Foster-Based Rescue with no shelter. We have adoption clinic on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11a-2pm at 6300 San Mateo (along the grass next to Academy Rd) in the southern end of the Spouts Market parking lot volunteer staffing/weather permitting. We can also make arrangements for a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with approved applications.
