Sprinkle a little magic into your life and meet Pixie, an adorable one-year-old, 8 lb. medium-haired chiweenie with the cutest puppy eyes and petite little body! She was recently adopted but turns out life in NYC was not for her as she became fearful and overstimulated in such a busy environment. She would like to find a nice, quiet home in the suburbs and is anxiously awaiting her happily furever after! Pixie is a spunky girl who enjoys snuggles and belly rubs. She loves wiggling around and playing with any toy that she can find. At less than 10 pounds, she's easy to scoop up to take on any adventure as she also rides well in the car. Pixie is the perfect lap dog who likes being with her people and LOVES being held. She enjoys her play time and her favorite toy is a simple yellow tennis ball. Pixie likes small pups, but is scared of larger dogs. She has not been around cats. She is a smart girl and already knows a variety of commands like sit, treat, come, and no. She's also house and crate trained. Pixie does not like being left alone so someone who is home often would be ideal. A family with no other dogs or just one smaller submissive pup would be best. She absolutely adores children but they should be dog savvy as she has some guarding tendencies so older are best. Due to this behavior, adopters should be committed to further training. Her adoption fee is $400 and Pixie is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
