About Diamond (female)

Diamond is a calm, lower energy, and very well mannered dog. Diamond adores her people and always wants to be close. She likes to please and has learned to high-five, sit, come, and stay. She's a dream on the leash and her former owner said she really enjoyed their time together taking walks. They describe her as 'friendly, charming, loving, and affectionate'. She loves toys and loves to play fetch with her person. The admired her 'appetite for life' and describe her as a peaceful, joyous companion. She's not afraid of storms but was afraid of cats in the adopter's home. In a prior foster home it was reported that she was friendly with their children, cats, and other dog. She was affectionate with her foster mom and dad who described her as a love and a sweet baby. She loves food and takes treats gently. The play group leader says that Diamond is good in play groups. She is a social player and takes on the role of hall monitor giving corrections to other dogs, if needed. She has kind of a mama dog personality trying to keep the group calm. The former owner states that Diamond does not like to go outside after dark so she made sure potty business was done before sunset. She is very housebroken. She is in the 2-6 age range and weighs 80 lbs. All adoptable dogs at Citrus County Animal Services are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. Come meet Diamond at 4030 S.
