About Arugula (female)

Arugula is a lovely lady who is polite, calm, lower energy, and very well mannered. She was in a foster home, and they reported that she was friendly with their cats and other dog. She was affectionate with her foster mom and dad. They describe her as a love and a sweet baby. She knows basic commands like come, down, and 'no'. She sits when asked and takes treats gently. She walks gently on a leash and does not seem to be an escape/flight risk. The foster family states that she is a quiet companion and not a barker and is non-reactive to cars going down the road. She has no reaction to thunder. When they first got her home, she was resistant to going outside but once she realized that she got to come back in she was happy. She wants to be with her people. She slept in her crate when beside their bed but panicked when the family left the house with her in the crate she panicked as if she thought she was being abandoned. At the shelter she enjoys being with her handlers and will walk close beside them. She is very affectionate and attentive to everyone. Prior to coming to the shelter Arugula spent some time in the finder's home with 2 kids and 2 other dogs and everyone played well together She is in the 2-6 age range and weighs 63lbs.
