Hello, I'm Teressa, a 1.5-year-old, 68-pound, brindle, Mountain Cur. I'm looking for a compassionate and caring family who will love and be with me as much as possible. I'm a well-mannered dog who loves to snuggle with you and give kisses. I get excited at first but settle down and walk well on leash. I am also potty-trained. I love people and I'm very loyal to them. I want to have people of my own who will treat me like a princess. I'm good with other dogs and even cats! I will table or counter surf if given the opportunity but am working to break this habit. I'm vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and treated for heartworms. I am healthy and ready to go to my new family. I have some separation anxiety and I cry when I'm left by myself, but we are working on building up my confidence in this area. I need a family who will understand my feelings and help me work on this. I would do my best with a family who is not away from the home most of the day. Maybe with a stay-at-home mom or work-from-home professional. I'm being fostered in Maryville, TN, but I can be transported to other states for the right-fitting family.
