About Jam

Adoption Fee: $200
Australian Cattle Dog / Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Jam (aka 202) is an affectionate and loving pretty mix breed dog. We aren't exactly sure what breed she is but we suspect maybe Shepherd, Lab, Cattle Dog, and/or Carolina Dog. She is about one year old, still has puppy energy and bright white teeth and weighs 41 pounds. Jam was named after the traffic Jam she caused on highway 202 East she caused. She was saved by good samaritans who were on vacation in AZ, found her on the 202, and pulled over to save her where she was then brought to our rescue. When she came to us she was underweight and had cuts and scrapes, but luckily had no further injuries. Her history is unknown and if she did have owners they didn't claim her. Jam loves being with people, she loves belly rubs and if you'll let her she'll be a lap dog! She does good with other dogs here and will play with them. She does good in the crate which is where she sleeps at night. Jam can hop fences so she will need a home where's there's tall fences and won't be left outside for long periods of time. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. If you have your own dog(s) we encourage you to bring them to our facility for an easy introduction in 'neutral' territory, this goes for every dog we adopt out here. If you'd like to meet Jam or have any questions, contact us.
