About Wren

This gorgeous kitty girl is Wren who appears to be a Maine Coon Domestic Mix. Wren and her sister Willow were found on January 28, 2024, in a remote location along the river in Hopewell, Virginia. Hiding in some underbrush the sisters were spotted by a photographer who was scouting the location for a photo shoot . Upon seeing the girls she approached them and they gingerly exited their hideout and happily accepted the food she offered them. After seeing her Facebook plea shared by a rescue friend I offered to take Wren and her sister in as rescues. On Sunday, February 4th the girls became my wards. The following day Wren was vetted. She combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, was dewormed and received her rabies and distemper vaccinations. She is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped this coming Tuesday, February 20th. Wren is very much bonded to her sister Willow and enjoys snuggling and cuddling with her. She has done well with my personal kitties, the other rescue kitties and my doggies, but can be a tad shy around them. She is just beginning to play with toys and has ventured throughout through the residence and joined in on Hallmark movie watching and ACC basketball watching. Her coat is super soft and silky and very fluffy. An absolute sweetheart, Wren will likely be shy initially in her new home given her background of likely having been abandoned with her sister.
