About Delta

Delta is a young 3 year old shepherd. He is looking for that special family who will take him through obedience classes, give him walkies every day, and who will be as fiercely loyal to him as he will be to them. He walks great on a leash and will sit on command but will not stay put. He is social and very eager to love. Someone wasn't very nice to Delta in previous years as he is a bit headshy. He is very sensitive and eager to trust. I believe he will be great in a mature german shepherd experienced home. He will NOT go to a home with children and will need an experienced handler as he is a dog that requires respect. Delta weighs about 70 lbs, and at 3 years old, he is full-grown. Delta has completed HW treatment. He was pulled from the shelter in Muncie, where he was surrendered by owners who had no business getting a working line shepherd. After a warm up period, he is affectionate and eager to please. Until then, he is aloof and on high alert.
