About Winston

Winston is a 2-year-old poodle mix weighing 20 pounds. We are unsure if his mix is bichon? Dachshund? Or Labrador? Whichever the mix he is handsome, playful, intelligent and loves attention. Winston was in a home with a senior owner who was declining and eventually his family had to place him in long term care and surrender Winston to us. Since arriving he needed to learn a few manners, so he was taken to a basic obedience course and graduated. He is housebroken and listens quite well but still has some puppy energy and stubbornness. He has been very good playing with dogs about his size but can get a little rough and clumsy with the little ones. Winston would be a fun dog for an active family. He sleeps in a kennel, but it was reported he loved cuddling and sleeping with a family member for a few nights. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and Heartworm negative.
