To meet ZIGGY and be considered for adoption you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION using this link- https://form.jotform.com/232395363383057 or by filling out an application on our website- aplaceofhoperescue.com ZIGGY is a 7 month old, 16 pound Jack Russell mix who was surrendered after his owner left him with older relatives unable to keep up with his energy LOCATION: Pensacola FL NEEDS: Fenced yard, and a playmate would be great too! ZIGGY is a friendly, cheerful, active boy. He is very outgoing and loves everyone he meets. His foster mom says he has a happy tail! Much like any puppy he loves kisses and cuddles and running and playing, not necessarily in that order! He would love to have an active family to take him on adventures! Ziggy is good with dogs of all sizes and would be so happy to have a playful dog friend in his new home. We have not had him around cats or kids but think he would love to have older kids (10+) to play with. He would likely chase a cat. Ziggy is not leash trained yet and is working on his potty training. Remember he's just a puppy so he will need a good routine and positive reinforcement to fully pick it up. He should go to a home with a fenced yard. After full day of running and playing and exploring, Ziggy likes to sleep in the bed with his family. Ziggy has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, wormed, started on heartworm prevention, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you are looking for a fun, happy little guy to join your family, please submit an app! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
