About Sarge

Meet Sarge, a stunning 2.5 year old German Shepherd with a heart full of love, but sadly, fear has taken over his world. Sarge has been in a loving home environment for his whole life but due to certain circumstances he needs to find his new furever home. Sarge suffers from fear-reactive behavior which is making it incredibly challenging for him to find the peace and security he deserves. He is very obedient and with continued training and socialization, Sarge would make a great companion. Despite his fear, Sarge is a sweetheart at heart. Once he trusts you, he's incredibly loyal and affectionate. He longs for a patient and understanding human companion who can help him overcome his fears and rebuild his confidence. Sarge's ideal home would be one with experienced dog owners who understand fear-reactive behavior and are willing to provide him with the love, patience, and structure he needs to thrive. A calm and quiet environment without young children or other pets would be best suited for Sarge as he learns to navigate the world around him.
