About Teddy and Diago

Teddy weighs 8 pounds and Diago weighs 8.6 pounds. They were surrendered to us by their owner. LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Each other and a home with a fenced yard. TEDDY and DIAGO are adorable, funny little guys! Diago is the more outgoing of the two and when he starts to approach you, Teddy wants to come too, but he has to have something in his mouth. A toy, or a leaf, or a sock! He will run and find something before he comes to you. When they are anxious (they are still a little timid with people) Teddy will stand facing you wagging his tail, and then Diago will put his feet on Teddy's back and wag his tail too. They are brothers and best friends and really rely on each other for confidence. If they are separated for even a minute, one will bark and the other will stop and go running to his brother. When they first meet a dog Teddy and Diago might chase it but they will turn tail and run if that dog stops and faces them. They will bark and run and tail wag the whole time though! They generally like other dogs and are good with them. Cats are unknown, but we imagine they would chase the heck out of one. Kids are also unknown but we think they would be fine, although better with older ones. Teddy and Diago are not leash trained and need a home with a fenced yard. They love to play and run. They are not 100% housebroken but it won't take long to get them there. At night they sleep wherever the other one is... an open door kennel, a dog bed, or anywhere as long as they are together. Teddy and Diago have been to the vet for a wellness check, have had three sets of puppy shots, have had their rabies and bordetella vaccines, are neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. They are the cutest pair of pups who will brighten any home! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
