About Roxie

Everyone meet Roxie! This beautiful Aussie(mix) pup is just 8 months old. She is full of life and energy, but is one of the calmer puppies. She'll run outside with you for however long you please or she'll curl up on the couch with you and snuggle too! She is up to date on all vaccines, preventions, is microchipped, and spayed. She is crate trained(and is even quiet!) and house broken. She does extremely well with a doggy door. She loves cats but should be slowly introduced, she's very doggy friendly but should also have an unhurried interaction. She will however, resource guard high value treats or toys from other dogs. We have been working to correct this and she is doing wonderful. She does not do well with birds(ducks, chickens, etc.) they just look too much like play toys! Roxie is a fast learner and has a need to please. She is still working on understanding a leash, and can have a tendency to up and stop on walks. She did wonderful at the vet and stayed by my side just taking it all in. She would do great in a farm setting or somewhere with a big yard as she does still have that puppy energy! She loves her foster moms pups and would be best with another pup or even a cat! She will need continued training, basic or agility. She has the goofiest personality and has the power to always make you laugh. I can't wait for this sweet pup to find her perfect pawrents!
