About Cleo (she/her)

Adoption Fee: 500
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Cleo is a sweet and adorable girl looking for a great forever home! Cleo is a purebred poodle, DOB 5/8/22 who weighs about 25 lbs. She is a breeder release and is great with other dogs. She is doing well in a home, and is learning to be leash and house trained. She is smart, friendly, and wants to please. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard and a socialized dog that can help her become the best dog she can be. She is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, de-wormed, and fecal tested negative. We require an application, phone interview, virtual house check, and meet and greet with your entire family. Send us an email at [email protected] for a for an adoption application or apply online at: If you have already submitted an application to us, send us an email, expressing your interest in this dog. We are foster based in the Chicago area and do NOT have a shelter or central location for you to view our dogs. Please consider SPONSORING to help with our foster dogs' medical needs. You can click on the 'Sponsor' button or donations can be made to our Paypal and Zelle at [email protected] or or Venmo @petprofilerescue (last 4 digits of the phone number are 9703) to help with our foster dogs' medical care. Our rescue dogs' Amazon Wishlist is here: Cleo is a Retired breeder. Please Understand most breeder release dogs: Are NOT House Trained Do Not Walk Well on a Leash Do Not Play with Toys Have No Idea What a Treat Is They are a Flight Risk ( meaning if they get lose you will not be able to catch them) Have Never Lived in a Home The Kennel is Their Friend They are Frightened of Loud Noises, Small Children and Sudden Movements That 'Less is Best' - that too much love and attention will only make them pull further away. That is May take Weeks - Months - and sadly, sometimes Years - for them to trust %BD'%BD| But with Time, Love and Patience these dogs can soon become the Amazing Dogs They were Always Meant to Be. If you are interested in adopting a Breeder Dog we encourage you to do your research- this path is not for the weak- it can be a rough road - that the Rewards are Beyond Words!
