About Tayse

Tayse is very loving dog to all people. With that said, he is not a good watchdog because he is sure anyone who shows up must be here to play with him. He has a great temperament. He does require a lot of attention. He doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time. But, he does not tear up things and never has an accident in the house. He doesn't like other dogs or cats. He needs to be an only dog. We love him so much. But, we are moving out of state and our next house is not well suited for him. We won't have a fenced yard (which is a must) and we will be traveling more for our jobs. He does not do well in a boarding kennel due to all the other dogs. I thought I had a place for him here but that has fallen through. i'm a little desperate because we leave in 2 weeks. He can only go to an approved home and must be an inside dog. He does well with kids. But, it is probably better that they are older only because he has no concept of how big he is. He really thinks he is much smaller than he is. He is a big GSD - last weight was 115lbs and he is not fat at all. We have maintained all of his care - heartworm meds, dentals, vaccines, yearly labs/XR. I can provide all records for his past care. If you have ever wanted a GSD as a pet - he's your guy. If you are looking for a watchdog, he will not be a good fit. (Well, if someone tries to break into your house and they bring their dog, then he would turn into a great watchdog. LOL) He has a lot of energy so he will good a fenced yard that is big enough for him to play. Please only call if you are seriously interested. I will not let him go without checking out your home. I will send food and his supplies with him. Including his favorite toys which are all the same. He really only likes one toy and he has several of them.
