About Cheelo

Cheelo was rescued 2.5 years after being rescued from a hoarding situation with 28 dogs living in the desert. He was one of the more under-socialized dogs, so he can be shy at first-but once he feels safe, he's incredibly sweet and loves ear and neck scratches. He does well with other dogs and is making progress with leash training, though he'll need a patient home to continue building confidence. Cheelo is a laid-back boy who benefits from routine and having a safe space to retreat when he feels unsure. He just needs someone willing to go at his pace and show him he's safe
