We rescued Gunner, a 2-year-old male Belgian Malinois, from a shelter in Orange County, CA, just last week, sparing him from euthanasia. Currently, he is in the care of a foster family. Unfortunately, the foster can't keep him much longer due to other animals in her home. According to the foster, Gunner is an amazing boy with a sweet disposition and an underlying submissive temperament. He would thrive in a home with a spacious enclosed yard or a good-sized home without other animals. Gunner is a lap dog who loves to accompany his owner everywhere and enjoys daily runs or walks. He is well-behaved in a car and on a leash. Although he displays reactivity to other dogs during walks, it is correctable, especially by someone experienced with herding breeds. It's expected that this behavior will likely improve with time and regular efforts. We are seeking a loving forever home for Gunner. He is fully vaccinated and awaits neutering. Your help in finding him the perfect home is greatly appreciated.
