About Zeus

Our Zeus rules as the King of kindness and respect for others at our shelter. He's a blend of an Australian Cattle Hound and Blue Heeler, with a gorgous Blue Merle coat, full of color and unique markings. Born 2.2.2023 and weighing 53 lbs., this big boy is very sweet, aims to please, laid back and even has respect for the smaller pups in the shelter, appreciates his and their sizes. He is also housetrained. He would be a great addition to an active family, that enjoys hiking, camping and playing ball. He is good with adults, kids and dogs. Children might need to be over 8 due to his size (we do believe he has reached his adult size) and his occasional urges to herd. A home with a fenced yard is an absolute must for this fun, active and playful guy. He has been known to dig out of fences.
