About Nacho

To meet NACHO and be considered for adoption submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION by going to the Applications page on our website: www.aplaceofhoperescue.com NACHO is a 6 month old, 6.4 pound Boston Terrier Chihuahua mix who came to us from a shelter LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Fenced yard and a playful friend preferred. Nacho is a very playful, loving, and adorable little pup! He was quickly comfortable being in a new place, showed interest in the other pups, and was open and loving to everyone. He is so sweet and friendly! Anytime someone picks him up, even if he is in the middle of a high-speed chase with another dog, he is instantly calm and always gives the sweetest and most gentle kisses. Nacho loves to jump and run and wrestle with the other dogs in his foster home and would be happy to have a doggy friend in his new family. He would probably be okay as an only too under the right circumstances. We have not had him around cats but we imagine he would look at them as friends and try to play with them! He is in a home with children and would be great in a family with kids. A fenced yard would be a good for him since he loves to run and play outside. He still needs work on his leash training and potty training, like any puppy. But he is attentive and loves to please and with continued training he should be fine. Nacho currently sleeps with his foster family's teen daughter at night and she says he burrows under the covers, cozies up next to her side, and sleeps soundly through the night without moving. Nacho has had a wellness check at the vet, is up to date on shots, neutered, fecal tested, has been started on heartworm prevention, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. He is a perfectly precious little guy looking for a home to call his own! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
