Ruckus is year and a half Staffordshire, Shepard mix. He is neutered and house trained, with high energy. He is very goofy and affectionate and thinks he has to be the center of attention. He knows 'sit', 'lay down' and 'bed' but is very food motivated and could be taught other tricks as well. The good Ruckus loves to play and gets along with other dogs. Introductions can be a little exciting for him though, he is very vocal (hence the name Ruckus) and can be a bit overwhelming at first but he truly does just want to play. He is good with people an has a very sweet demeanor and loves pets and attention. The bad He is an escape artist. He will dig/push his way through anywhere he will fit. He also has a very high prey drive so if something runs from him he will chase it. We do have cats in the house, one of them doesn't seem to be bothered by ruckus and ruckus doesn't pay much attention to him. The other two don't know what to think and tend to run from him which he thinks is a game and runs after them. He is young still and we are hoping that he will grow out of these tendencies or that someone with more time will be able to train him better. We have been told some of his problems (mainly escaping) may be due to anxiety. Both my wife and I work a lot so in all honesty do not spend as much time as he probably needs. He would do best in a home with people who are home a lot and possibly another dog he could play with
