About Snickers

To meet SNICKERS and be considered for adoption you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.aplaceofhoperescue.com SNICKERS is a very friendly and happy 2 year old, 9 pound male Schnoodle who was surrendered to us. LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Playtime, snuggles, a dog buddy or a family where he won't spend hours alone. Snickers is a lovable Schnauzer Poodle mix pup. He is young and playful and still puppy-like. He loves to play/nap/play/nap! He will follow his person everywhere and is a wonderful lap dog. Snickers is not a barker but makes excited squeals when you return to the home after being out for work or an errand. He's always so happy to greet his family! Snickers loves kids, is great with other dogs and doesn't pay any attention to the cat in his foster home. He has very good social skills with other dogs and really enjoys their company. His ideal home should have another younger dog in it for him to buddy up with. Snickers is picking up potty training quickly but will need some more work on that. He needs a little work with leash but he picks up on everything so quickly that it won't be hard for him to learn. He likes riding in the car. At night he currently sleeps in a crate and would love to sleep with his family if given the chance! Snickers has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, is neutered, has been wormed, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
