About Pixie

Last week, the sweetest girl walked right up to me out of nowhere. She was loving and affectionate and immediately trusting. She was sweet and gentle with my 21-month-old daughter. Her ears have been cropped terribly like they weren't done by a veterinary professional. She has bald spots in her coat, all her joints have been rubbed raw, and her teeth are in poor condition. I brought her to Memphis Animal Services and I can't stop thinking about her. It breaks my heart that I can't bring her into my family. My lease has a strictly enforced two-pet limit (which I already meet) and it also prohibits bully breeds. She has now been added to the 'at risk of euthanasia' list. PLEASE help Pixie. I am crying as I write this. I know rescues are at capacity and I know resources are meager. I know all of this, but Pixie is so special. PLEASE help her.
